Essential JavaScript Frameworks for Developers

Web Designers and Web Developers all over the world require various JavaScript to enhance the user experience and look/feel of their website/web applications.

JavaScript (“JS” for short) is a full-fledged dynamic programming language that, when applied to an HTML document, can provide dynamic interactivity on websites.

There are many known JS in the market that can enhance your user experience. Some of which i will discuss with all viewers of DRJSLAB.

  • Fabric.js:
    • Fabric.JsFabric.js is a powerful and simple Javascript HTML5 canvas library Fabric provides interactive object model on top of canvas element Fabric also has SVG-to-canvas (and canvas-to-SVG) parser.
    • Fabric.js — a powerful Javascript library that makes working with HTML5 canvas a breeze.
    • Fabric provides a missing object model for canvas, as well as an SVG parser, layer of interactivity, and a whole suite of other indispensable tools. It is a fully open-source project, licensed under MIT, with many contributions over the years.

  • Prism.js

      • Show Language,
      • JSONP Highlight,
      • Highlight Keywords,
      • Remove initial line feed
      • Previewer: Base
      • Previewer: Color
      • Previewer: Gradient
      • Previewer: Easing
      • Previewer: Time
      • Previewer: Angle
      • Autoloader
      • Keep Markup
      • Command Line
      • Unescaped Markup
      • Normalize Whitespace
      • Data-URI Highlight

  • Interact.Js
    • interact.js is a JavaScript module for drag and drop, resizing and multi-touch gestures with inertia and snapping for modern browsers.
      Image result for Interact.Js
    • It provides features like:-
      • Dragging
      • Drag and Drop
      • Snapping
      • ReSizing
      • Multi Touch Rotation
      • Pinch to Zoom
      • Use in SVG Files
      • Tap, Double Tap and Hold

  • HighSlide Js
    • Highslide JS is an image, media and gallery viewer written in JavaScript. These are some of its advantages.
      • Quick and elegant looking.
      • No plugins like Flash or Java required.
      • Popup blockers are no problem. The content opens within the active browser window.
Single click. After opening the image or HTML popup, the user can scroll further down or leave the page without closing it.
      • Lots of configuration options and scalability without compromizing on simplicity. A component system lets you strip away unused features down to a filesize of 10kB.
      • Outstanding, unconditional and free user support for both commercial and non-commercial users.
      • Compatibility and safe degrading. If the user has disabled JavaScript or is using an old browser, the browser redirects directly to the image itself or to a given HTML page.
  • Paper.JS
    • Paper.js is an open source vector graphics scripting framework that runs on top of the HTML5 Canvas.
    • It offers a clean Scene Graph / Document Object Model and a lot of powerful functionality to create and work with vector graphics and bezier curves, all neatly wrapped up in a well designed, consistent and clean programming interface.
    • Paper.js is based on and largely compatible with Scriptographer, a scripting environment for Adobe Illustrator with an active community of scripters and more than 10 years of development.
    • Paper.js is easy to learn for beginners and has lots to master for intermediate and advanced users.

    • Components allow you to create your own application-specific HTML tags, using Handlebars to describe their markup and JavaScript to implement custom behavior.
    • Ember.js eliminates the boilerplate of displaying JSON retrieved from your server. If you know how to use jQuery, you know how to fetch models in Ember.
    • Build JavaScript apps that don’t break the web! Ember.js makes it downright simple to create sophisticated, multi-page JavaScript applications with great URL support, in a fraction of the code you’d write in other frameworks.
